The Auscultation Primer app presents auscultation of various heart sounds as they relate to the anatomy, physiology, and diagnosis of cardiovascular disease. Its perfect for physicians, medical students, nurses, and other clinicians who wish to improve their auscultation skills.The app includes 10 cases of live patient recordings among which are some of the most common sounds and murmurs. Each video recording includes audio plus a phonocardiogram and ekg tracing for timing. Additionally, descriptive text is provided to assist in the learning experience.

Good overview of the important murmurs. However, good sound is only granted by headphones.
Nicely organized with helpful
information. Would like a general page summarizing locations of murmurs on physical exam. I would encourage others to try this app too!
Some bad moments
Like the previous reviewer said, it does need earbuds to hear the sound clearly. With my earbuds in, there is no problem hearing the murmurs. Would love to see more sounds added but its free compared to the others.
This is a good app, but Littmann and Sound Builder have more heart sounds thsn this app uses.
